Interactive Alice in Wonderland

I reimagined the whimsical world of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by blending art and technology to create an interactive reading experience. Using Procreate, I hand illustrated a total of four well-known and enchanting scenes from the book and brought them to life through the utilization of After Effects to animate each layer. Once saved as an mp4 file, the real magic is able to happen. This occurs when you turn the pages of a blank sketchbook. Each page turn reveals a hidden QR code that, once scanned, unlocks and plays a loop of the mp4 animation which is hosted on a custom coded website created in Visual Studio Code. Through the wonder of projection mapping with MadMapper, these animations spring to life onto the pages, transforming a simple sketchbook into a gateway to Wonderland.
